Here’s What Our Clients Say…

“I am the president of an HOA in Boulder, Colorado and we hired L2M to manage a massive hail claim. We’d definitely hire them again! They had everything covered and made it easy for the association to get things done. The work they managed to get covered by the insurance definitely exceeded what we would have been able to do with the claim. All the contractors they hired did a great job, and L2M fixed any hiccups that happened along the way (which they will, it is a construction project after all). The process took longer than doing it ourselves, but it was worth it because we got a larger settlement and higher quality work than we would have gotten on our own. Chris was very easy to talk to, answered all our questions, corresponded with homeowners and provided sound advice.”

— Janine F.

“I am the president of a homeowners association based in Denver, CO. My experience working with L2M has been great. We dealt with a large hail claim on 10+ buildings. Chris helped me understand our options and worked diligently for our community to make sure every single detail was properly handled. The L2M team exceeded our expectations when working with the insurance company, managing contractors, and communicating with homeowners quickly. I trust Chris, Clint, and their team to provide quality service and friendly advice – I would definitely use them again. Thank you!”

— Robert O.

“L2M quickly and efficiently handled the insurance company as well as the different contractors involved. This gave me the time and freedom to continue running my business and not stress over the repairs.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How are L2M services free to me?

L2M works on contingency

My insurance agent can handle my claim, right?

No, insurance agents sell policies based on the customer’s needs. Insurance agents do not negotiate claims or manage the construction of your loss. The agent is often caught in the middle between the customer and the carrier when a claim goes bad.

I know insurance fraud is everywhere in the industry; how can I stay out of trouble?

Hire a knowledgeable company that specializes in the process.

Doesn’t my property manager know how to handle my loss?

Depending on the manager, most managers are not adequately trained to advise on construction at a large scale, especially when tangled with an insurance claim.

Should I use a Roofer/GC?

No, Roofer GCs are only concerned with the roof and gutters; your structure may have more damage that only a specialist can identify, document and correct.

What is Construction Consulting?

A professional consulting practice applied to construction projects from inception to completion to control time, cost, scope, and quality.

Is hiring a Construction Consultant that important?

Yes, a credentialed Construction Consultant understands the extensive construction process and can help your construction project run smoothly so that it can meet the carrier’s ever-changing demands.

I have a high deductible; should I file a claim?

If your damage is equal to your deductible, then you may not want to file. If, however, if the carrier’s estimate of loss is the only evaluation given, you may have considerably more damage than was initially stated, so filing a claim makes more sense.

Can my contractor pay my deductible for me?

No, it is illegal for a contractor to pay any part of a claim on behalf of the insured, whether directly or indirectly.

Is there a way to lessen the financial blow of a high deductible, legally?

Yes, L2M has several ways to minimize the pain of a high deductible that is not only legal but supported by the carrier.
